差程（D.T.）－ 柱塞或者執行元件的行程是從接觸點的“快動”到接觸點的“快回”。
自由位置（F.P.）－ 在沒有外力作用時開關柱塞或者執行元件的自由位置（不包括重力）。
全超行程力－達到執行元件全部超行程所需要的力。
工作點（O.P.）－ 執行元件或者柱塞的接觸點從正常狀態到工作狀態的點。注意在可調節或者柔性執行元件情況下，工作點是從杠桿末端測量或者是其最大長度。測量工作位置的所在可以參考安裝尺寸示例。
操作力（O.F.）－ 使得開關柱塞或者執行元件“快回”的力的總和。注意在可調節執行元件情況下，這個力是從杠桿的最大長度距離測量的。
過行程（O.T.）－ 柱塞或者執行元件在工作位置以外的安全行程。
預行程（P.T.）－ 在移動柱塞或者執行元件從自由位置到工作位置所經歷的距離或者角度。
釋放力（R.F.）－ 在開關柱塞或者執行元件的接觸點已經從工作位置到非工作位置時仍然加在其上的力的總和。
總行程（T.T.）－ 從執行元件的自由位置到最大過行程位置的總距離。
